SCM's Model PSA-12 is designed to meet the needs of specialty slitting and salvaging operations. The machine can be equipped with score and/or razor slitting to easily process most pressure sensitive tapes. The PSA-12 utilizes a dual turret rewind for maximum production with minimum operator effort. The PSA-12 can also be setup to process 3) rolls of 2" wide tape simultaneously, further increasing rewind mode productivity. PLC control and Touch Pad HMI is provided to automate operations, program rewind tension, and provide easy, repeatable machine setup. The machine can also be equipped to efficiently salvage telescoped, gapped or poorly wound rolls of tape in widths up to 3" using a unique tape alignment device that is effective in excess of 1000 FPM.
